1. What started you off in your career path as a chef.

- My career as a chef started at a young age after my wife became pregnant. I had already been working as an on-call steward and a stockman for a year. Luckily, I was promoted as a junior chef when given the opportunity.

2.  Did you consider other options before deciding on culinary arts?.

- Yes, as a former commerce student, I had considered working in a bank or any corporate establishment before pursuing culinary arts.

3.Who is your greatest influence as a chef?

- My greatest influence as a chef is not a particular person or chef, but those chefs who inspire and succeed in their field despite hardships and obstacles.

4. What would you consider as your greatest accomplishment this far..

- My greatest accomplishment thus far is being able to work for a reputable company and being part of these organizations.

5. if there was one recipe to remember you by, which one would it be and why?

- I think the infamous tuna ceviche is not only light and easy to prepare, but it's also deliciously good, just like me. Once you get to know me, you're going to like me because I am light and easy to work with.

6.What was the most challenging project you handle?

- It was during the national election campaign period in San Jose, Bulacan, way back in 2006. I was sent and assigned as one of the chefs (as there were only two of us) to prepare packed lunches for the supporters, coordinators, and staff. It lasted for five months, mainly during the "meeting de abanse".

7.What other thing are in you bucket list?

√ start a business

√ travel with family abroad

√own a car

√skydive

√go on the great wall of china

√see the northern lights

8. If given a blank check to finance any dream project what you work on?

- To start building my own restaurant.
